Does Objective Reality Exist?

In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th Century.

You did not hear about it on the evening News. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading scientific journals you probably have never even heard Aspect's name, though there are some who believe his discovery may change the face of science.

Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn't matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart. Somehow each particle always seems to know what the other is doing.

The problem with this feat is that it violates Einstein's long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Since traveling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect has caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Aspect's findings.

But it has inspired others to offer even more radical explanations. University of London physicist David Bohm, for example, believes Aspect's findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram.

To understand why Bohm makes this startling assertion, one must first understand a little about holograms.

A hologram is a three-dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser. To make a hologram, the object to be photographed is first bathed in the light of a laser beam.

Then a second laser beam is bounced off the reflected light of the first and the resulting interference pattern (the area where the two laser beams commingle) is captured on film. When the film is developed, it looks like a meaningless swirl of light and dark lines. But as soon as the developed film is illuminated by another laser beam, a three-dimensional image of the original object appears.

The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms.

If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the Rose. Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film will always be found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image.

Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole.The "whole in every part" nature of a hologram provides us with an entirely new way of understanding organization and order.

For most of its history, Western science has labored under the bias that the best way to understand a physical phenomenon, whether a frog or an atom, is to dissect it and study its respective parts.

A hologram teaches us that some things in the universe may not lend themselves to this approach. If we try to take apart something constructed holographically, we will not get the pieces of which it is made, we will only get smaller wholes.

This insight suggested to Bohm another way of understanding Aspect's discovery.Bohm believes the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion. He argues that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something.

To enable people to better visualize what he means, Bohm offers the following illustration. Imagine an aquarium containing a fish. Imagine also that you are unable to see the aquarium directly and your knowledge about it and what it contains comes from two television cameras, one directed at the aquarium's front and the other directed at its side.

As you stare at the two television monitors, you might assume that the fish on each of the screens are separate entities. After all, because the cameras are set at different angles, each of the images will be slightly different.

But as you continue to watch the two fish, you will eventually become aware that there is a certain relationship between them. When one turns, the other also makes a slightly different but corresponding turn; when one faces the front, the other always faces toward the side.

If you remain unaware of the full scope of the situation, you might even conclude that the fish must be instantaneously communicating with one another, but this is clearly not the case.

This, says Bohm, is precisely what is going on between the subatomic particles in Aspect's experiment. According to Bohm, the apparent faster-than-light connection between subatomic particles is really telling us that there is a deeper level of reality we are not privy to, a more complex dimension beyond our own that is analogous to the aquarium.

And, he adds, we view objects such as subatomic particles as separate from one another because we are seeing only a portion of their reality. Such particles are not separate "parts", but facets of a deeper and more underlying unity that is ultimately as holographic and indivisible as the previously mentioned rose.

And since everything in physical reality is comprised of these "eidolons", the universe is itself a projection, a hologram. In addition to its phantomlike nature, such a universe would possess other rather startling features.

If the apparent separateness of subatomic particles is illusory, it means that at a deeper level of reality all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected. The electrons in a carbon atom in the human brain are connected to the subatomic particles that comprise every salmon that swims, every heart that beats, and every star that shimmers in the sky.

Everything interpenetrates everything, and although human nature may seek to categorize and pigeonhole and subdivide, the various phenomena of the universe, all apportionments are of necessity artificial and all of nature is ultimately a seamless web.

In a holographic universe, even time and space could no longer be viewed as fundamentals. Because concepts such as location break down in a universe in which nothing is truly separate from anything else, time and three-dimensional space, like the images of the fish on the TV monitors, would also have to be viewed as projections of this deeper order.

At its deeper level reality is a sort of superhologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously. This suggests that given the proper tools it might even be possible to someday reach into the superholographic level of reality and pluck out scenes from the long-forgotten past.

What else the superhologram contains is an open-ended question. Allowing, for the sake of argument, that the superhologram is the matrix that has given birth to everything in our universe, at the very least it contains every subatomic particle that has been or will be -- every configuration of matter and energy that is possible, from snowflakes to quasars, from blue whales to gamma rays.

It must be seen as a sort of cosmic storehouse of "All That Is."

Although Bohm concedes that we have no way of knowing what else might lie hidden in the superhologram, he does venture to say that we have no reason to assume it does not contain more. Or as he puts it, perhaps the superholographic level of reality is a "mere stage" beyond which lies "an infinity of further development".

Bohm is not the only researcher who has found evidence that the universe is a hologram.

Working independently in the field of brain research, Standford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram has also become persuaded of the holographic nature of reality. Pribram was drawn to the holographic model by the puzzle of how and where memories are stored in the brain. For decades numerous studies have shown that rather than being confined to a specific location, memories are dispersed throughout the brain.

In a series of landmark experiments in the 1920s, brain scientist Karl Lashley found that no matter what portion of a rat's brain he removed he was unable to eradicate its memory of how to perform complex tasks it had learned prior to surgery. The only problem was that no one was able to come up with a mechanism that might explain this curious "whole in every part" nature of memory storage.

Then in the 1960s Pribram encountered the concept of holography and realized he had found the explanation brain scientists had been looking for. Pribram believes memories are encoded not in neurons, or small groupings of neurons, but in patterns of nerve impulses that crisscross the entire brain in the same way that patterns of laser light interference crisscross the entire area of a piece of film containing a holographic image. In other words, Pribram believes the brain is itself a hologram.

Pribram's theory also explains how the human brain can store so many memories in so little space. It has been estimated that the human brain has the capacity to memorize something on the order of 10 billion bits of information during the average human lifetime (or roughly the same amount of information contained in five sets of the Encyclopaedia Britannica).

Similarly, it has been discovered that in addition to their other capabilities, holograms possess an astounding capacity for information storage--simply by changing the angle at which the two lasers strike a piece of photographic film, it is possible to record many different images on the same surface. It has been demonstrated that one cubic centimeter of film can hold as many as 10 billion bits of information.

Our uncanny ability to quickly retrieve whatever information we need from the enormous store of our memories becomes more understandable if the brain functions according to holographic principles.

If a friend asks you to tell him what comes to mind when he says the word "zebra", you do not have to clumsily sort back through some gigantic and cerebral alphabetic file to arrive at an answer. Instead, associations like "striped", "horselike", and "animal native to Africa" all pop into your head instantly.

Indeed, one of the most amazing things about the human thinking process is that every piece of information seems instantly cross-correlated with every other piece of information -- another feature intrinsic to the hologram.

Because every portion of a hologram is infinitely interconnected with ever other portion, it is perhaps nature's supreme example of a cross-correlated system.

The storage of memory is not the only neurophysiological puzzle that becomes more tractable in light of Pribram's holographic model of the brain. Another is how the brain is able to translate the avalanche of frequencies it receives via the senses (light frequencies, sound frequencies, and so on) into the concrete world of our perceptions.

Encoding and decoding frequencies is precisely what a hologram does best. Just as a hologram functions as a sort of lens, a translating device able to convert an apparently meaningless blur of frequencies into a coherent image, Pribram believes the brain also comprises a lens and uses holographic principles to mathematically convert the frequencies it receives through the senses into the inner world of our perceptions.

An impressive body of evidence suggests that the brain uses holographic principles to perform its operations.

Pribram's theory, in fact, has gained increasing support among neurophysiologists. Argentinian-Italian researcher Hugo Zucarelli recently extended the holographic model into the world of acoustic phenomena. Puzzled by the fact that humans can locate the source of sounds without moving their heads, even if they only possess hearing in one ear, Zucarelli discovered that holographic principles can explain this ability. Zucarelli has also developed the technology of holophonic sound, a recording technique able to reproduce acoustic situations with an almost uncanny realism.

Pribram's belief that our brains mathematically construct "hard" reality by relying on input from a frequency domain has also received a good deal of experimental support.

It has been found that each of our senses is sensitive to a much broader range of frequencies than was previously suspected. Researchers have discovered, for instance, that our visual systems are sensitive to sound frequencies, that our sense of smell is in part dependent on what are now called "cosmic frequencies", and that even the cells in our bodies are sensitive to a broad range of frequencies.

Such findings suggest that it is only in the holographic domain of consciousness that such frequencies are sorted out and divided up into conventional perceptions. But the most mind-boggling aspect of Pribram's holographic model of the brain is what happens when it is put together with Bohm's theory.

For if the concreteness of the world is but a secondary reality and what is "there" is actually a holographic blur of frequencies, and if the brain is also a hologram and only selects some of the frequencies out of this blur and mathematically transforms them into sensory perceptions, what becomes of objective reality?

Put quite simply, it ceases to exist.

As the religions of the East have long upheld, the material world is Maya, an illusion, and although we may think we are physical beings moving through a physical world, this too is an illusion. We are really "receivers" floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transmogrify into physical reality is but one channel from many extracted out of the superhologram.

This striking new picture of reality, the synthesis of Bohm and Pribram's views, has come to be called the holographic paradigm, and although many scientists have greeted it with skepticism, it has galvanized others.

A small but growing group of researchers believe it may be the most accurate model of reality science has arrived at thus far.

BULLYING YOUTH BECOME BULLYING ADULTS

I just read my weekly ezine from someone I admire greatly, Mr. Harvey Mackay.

With over 45 years of experience, serving more than 1,000 customers, from Fortune 500 corporations to small emerging companies, Harvey Mackay knows what he is talking about.

Isn't it interesting that he should be speaking about the same topic that The Love-N-Lightning Boot Camp addresses. I wanted to share it with you so you could see where our youth are headed IF we don't do something to help them because bullying youth become bullying and sometimes murderous adults.

Harvey Mackay's Column This Week

What is anger/violence in the workplace? Do you feel safe at work?
According to the National Crime Victimization Survey and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 2 million assaults and threats of violence against Americans at work occur annually.

This includes: 325,000 aggravated assault ... 36,500 rapes and sexual assault ... 70,100 robberies, and ... 900 homicides.

In addition to assaults and threats, a substantial number of employees report being bullied or harassed on the job.

Workplace violence costs employers billions of dollars in ... lost work time and wage ... reduced productivity ... medical cost ... workers' compensation payments, and ... egal and security expenses.

Providing training to recognize and address workplace violence should be a regular part of an employer's annual training regimen. An inappropriate language tiff between employees can escalate to something much more serious if left unattended.

Such behavior was reported at my company, MackayMitchell Envelope Company, so several months ago management took time to review our offensive behavior policy with all of our employees. We hired TEAM (Total Employee Assistance Management Inc.) and held several mandatory training classes.
I learned a lot about this issue, and while writing about such a topic is a real departure for me, I think this is especially important.

First off, what constitutes workplace violence?

It includes ... name calling ... yelling ... angry remarks ... obscene phone calls ... vague or specific threats ... thowing things ... destroying property ... shoving ... statking ... hitting ... stabbing ... rape ... suicide and even ... murder.

Violence in the workplace can come from ... patients ... student ... customer ... clients ... supervisor ... managers and ... current or former employees. In addition, violence can come from a spouse ... child ... neighbor or ... anyone who has a personal relationship with an employee.

A number of risk factors increase the likelihood of workplace violence including:

a mishandled termination or disciplinary action
a grudge over a real or imaginary grievance
drug or alcohol abuse
bringing weapons to work or fascination with weapons
increasing belligerence
vague or specific threats
interest in recently publicized violent events
frequent outbursts of anger
and homicidal or suicidal comments or threats.

An employer has an obligation to provide a safe work environment.

What can they do to decrease the likelihood of workplace violence occurring?

Adopt a workplace violence policy and prevention program
Communicate the policy to all employees and provide training sessions for all new and current employees and members of management
Adopt consistent and fair disciplinary procedures
Foster an environment of trust and respect among co-workers and between employees and management
When necessary, seek assistance from outside resources such as law enforcement, employee assistance and mental health professionals.
Employees are often the first to notice potential problems with co-workers, and should be encouraged to be active participants in keeping the workplace safe.

What can employees do to help prevent workplace violence?

Accept and adhere to your company's workplace violence preventative policies and practices
Become aware of warning signs.
Report any threatening and violent behaviors to management or human resources.

The instructor of our violence in the workplace class shared this story with me about the "worry tree"

"I was in a session with a police officer and asked him how he dealt with all of the tragedy, death and inhuman behavior exhibited between people on the assorted police calls he goes out on.

"He told me that every night when he went home he touched a tree while walking into his house. By touching the tree, he told himself he was dumping all of the tragedy, stress, death, and trauma on the tree. He then went into his home, took off his vest, locked his gun away, and made the conscious choice to stop being a police officer, and to start being a husband and dad.

"The next morning he touched the tree on the way to his car to go to work and assumed all his worries. The amazing thing is there aren't nearly as many as he hung up the night before. He told me by touching the tree, it allowed him to compartmentalize his life and prevent him from burning out."

The officer found a positive way to keep his anger and frustrations from turning into violent behavior. Help yourself and those around you to do the same.

Mackay's Moral: Control yourself: Remember anger is just one letter short of danger.

The Police Chief 's office in our city conducted a telephone survey of over 1000 people to determine what topics citizens were interested in having presentations on. One surprising statistic that stunned the survey conductor is that more than 80% of the respondents did NOT believe that bullying was a problem in our schools!

Our city of 180,000 may not have the violence experienced at Virginia Tech or Columbine but it is growing at an alarming rate. Police presentations on bullying are usually attended by a few youth and parents who are pro-active and educating themselves or by parents who have youth in desperate need and have not been able to get the help needed.

A few years ago, I did a presentation on SUICIDE at a local high school. I noticed two teens were very troubled and after the presentation their teacher asked if I could spend some private time with them . I agreed on the condition that the school counsellor sat in with us.

One was considering suicide because he was being bullied all the time and the other's mother had committed suicide.

I spent 20 minutes maximum with each student. As I led them through a technique that required very little speaking on his or her part, the transformation that took place was quite apparent. Tears of joy and relief streamed down their faces and the look of peace and healing experienced made them glow!

I could sense the counsellor feeling confused, wondering what I was doing with them. When I offered to teach her how to do the same she quickly refused saying she didn't have the time, even though I offered to share it with her at her convenience. I could sense her fear, her panic.
I often hear people's thoughts and hers were coming through loud and clear, "What is she doing? What happened here? Don't tell me I studied years to become a counsellor and she tells me I can learn this in a few hours! NO!"

Her fear prevented her from becoming the gifted, amazing, trusted, counsellor she had the potential to be, one needed by so many today.

It is time! Our youth need us. Do not let your fears prevent you from being your full self; from learning some tools that can not only help you but empower you to serve others.

What I am about to share with you is the foundation of all that is ...

YOU ARE A HOLOGRAM OF GOD

Do you know who you really are? If I said you are a Hologram of God would you agree or even understand? Don't feel bad, I sure didn't when I first found out.

Let me explain.

Many years ago I was in a gift shop and saw some colorful pendants labeled – Holographic Pendants. They were quite expensive and I couldn't figure out why.

Holographic? Holograms? What’s that? I wondered as I held one up to the light. Suddenly a 3 dimensional picture appeared! It looked so real; like I could walk into the picture or that it was coming out at me. This is neat, I thought as I looked at the pendant sideways wondering, How do they do that? They must have zillions of layers to give that 3D effect. This is really neat.

Spirit whispered, “If you think that’s neat, guess what … you are a hologram of God!”

Give me a break! I don’t even know what holograms are and you’re telling me I am a hologram of God. Explain! my mind screamed in frustration.

Five minutes later I was in my favorite bookstore and there was a book begging to be read. I zipped through it quickly and voila - the last chapter was on HOLOGRAMS!

The author said if you want to understand the thinking behind holograms imagine a crystal clear bowl of water.

To simplify his teachings, I will choose a frozen lake instead. Imagine cutting a hole in the ice. Take out that sheet of ice and hold it up to the light. What would you see? If it was a normal piece of frozen ice created by compression or by lowering the temperature, you would see crystallized water … maybe the occasional rainbow.

BUT …

if this sheet of ice was holographically created and you held it up to the light … you would see all the fish in the lake, the weeds, broken bottles, every grain of sand ... EVERYTHING would be seen as though it was floating out of that sheet of ice!

WOW!

Oops, you drop the sheet of ice and it breaks up into thousands of little pieces. There are little chips of ice, every where, all different shapes and sizes.

Pick up one chip, hold it up to the light and what would you see?

Do you think you will see one little fish? Nope. No matter how many times you break up that little chip, each and every piece would show you exactly the same thing …

The Same Whole Picture!

WOW! Isn't that amazing!

Spirit came along again and whispered, “You are a chip off the old block.” Well I laughed and laughed and now knew how I was a Hologram of God. When I was a child, if someone said, ‘You’re a chip off the old block,” it meant, " You’re exactly like your father, exactly like your mother."

There is Father, Mother, God, Spirit, the Light, the I Am, the Source, whatever you wish to call Ithat creative force, the source of all that is, wishing to express Itself, to be, but unable do so in Its fullness, because It is too big. It would be like a million watts going through a 100 watt bulb. The light bulb would explode.

The Creator, LOVE, wishes to be everywhere to express Itself, to be, to experience, so it takes a deep breath and exhales … oooommmmm, and little chips of God are spread out everywhere.

This one is, called a rock, Dude, a tree, a Martian, Jesus, Hitler, George, President Bush, Osama Bin Laden, Mother Theresa, the school bully, your favorite hero,

God Always Was

Hearing God always was, always will be, and always remains the same drove me crazy when I was a kid in Catholic schools. I wasn’t so sure God existed because all I saw was hell everywhere. BUT … what if God, the I AM, did exist and was in everything like I was taught? Everything is always changing so how can God remain the same? No one could ever explain that to me. “It’s a mystery,” they would reply. ”Just have faith.”

I now understood.

Let’s take a detour for a quick, simple physics class. Imagine an atom of energy – a proton, a neutron, and an electron all zipping and zapping everywhere, moving so quickly you cannot see the movement.

I don’t know how they did it but scientists have proven there are millions of atoms in the period at the end of a sentence. MILLIONS in a ‘.’ dot! Now, take one atom away from the rest and split it in half. What would happen?

Think about this … realize the power!

During the Second World War, J. Robert Oppenheimer discovered how to split an atom and created the atom bomb ... the bomb that flattened Hiroshima!

You can’t even see an atom! Look at what it did, the power it has!

That ‘blows me away’ every time I think of it!

And the atom was not split from the outside, (explosion)
it was an inside job – (an implosion).

All Your Power Is Inside You !!

Look at your thumbnail. How many atoms are in your thumbnail?

You can’t count them all but inside every single atom is that potential nuclear power!

“The Kingdom of heaven is within.”

“I AM the way and the truth and the light.” What a bright light it was!

After His death, Jesus increased His vibration and went from solid, liquid, gas, electrical, magnetic, etheric, spiritual energy and disappeared leaving a little trace of nuclear dust on the Shroud of Turin. When He wants to appear, He simply slows down His twinkles of light, like steam becoming ice and voila, you can see Him.

He said, “You can do the same as I and even more.” He did not lie.

Back To God Always Was and Always Will Be and Always Remains the Same

Remembering the I AM is in every cell of your being … in ALL Beings …
Remembering the I AM registers everything … you think, say and do ...

The minute you take a computer course the I AM registers it …
You don't have to pay $5000 for one of the healing courses I took, it's all inside you, you just havent' learned how to access it yet - Love does - the I AM does.

The I AM inside everyone else has also registered your computer course. They don't even know you exist but now there is that knowledge inside them because of what you did. Do you begin to understand how the young learn computers so quickly ... you and I laid the ground work for them.

Now what happens if you commit suicide, or one person takes a weapon into school and kills others? What do you think in now inside all of us?

Everything about Hitler is inside you, the good the bad the ugly is all inside us.

Do you see why suicide, depression, killing is such a big problem on this planet?

Do you see how everything can snowball out of control?

"What so ever you do unto the least of My brethren, you do unto Me." Do you now understand what those words mean ?

All it takes is one to do it and it is now inside everyone else!

The minute you think, "I am a dummy, no good," "He is a _______(Negative word)" the I AM has registered it and if the I AM is in every cell of your being, what have you done to us, to every atom of energy on this planet?

Let us now focus on the positive ... the truth! It's all a matter of choice.

I AM SPIRIT
NOTHING CAN HURT ME
OR MAKE ME SICK OR AFRAID.

WHY?

BECAUSE SPIRIT IS GOD

GOD CANNOT BE SICK, HURT OR AFRAID
I AM HERE TO MANIFEST
MY TRUE SELF
THROUGH THIS BODY
NOW!

THAT IS THE TRUTH!

NOW, what have you done to everyone on the planet including yourself, the bullies, the sick, the weak. You are empowering everyone to remember the truth, we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.

If you came here to demonstrate the power of LOVE through forgiveness, there has to be a bad guy to forgive! How else can you display mastery of your emotions, etc?

You have been given enough food for thought at this time. Ask for the truth and the truth will set you free.

Thursday 14 June 2007 was a day these high school students will not forget!

Most of the 93 Grade 9 and 10 students had been receiving 'BULLYING' presentations since Grade 1 and didn't really want to be at Love-N-Lightning's Level-1 Boot Camp on Bullying and Positive Self-Esteem Development ... Argh! ... especially when 45 other students went off to Canada's Wonderland for some fun in the sun.

So, imagine if you can, the attitude present in the gym on that hot summer day.

The S.S.M.'s past experiences running day care centres, playground and teen programs and working with incarcerated youth prepared her to handle restless teens who really wanted to be somewhere else.

Little did they know, the Spiritual Sergeant Major had many interesting tools in her L-N-L Survival Kit for them.to personally experience.

They found out ...

They were Holograms of God
They were spiritual beings having a human experience
What HuMans were and why they get hOMesick

Every act was a cry for love and the more dastardly the deed the greater the need for love

Sounds like a lot, doesn't it?

It was not all sitting and listening. In the Trusting The Source exercise they were partnered with someone they hardly knew and found out amazing information about each other and how they could use it in the future to know ...

if someone was lying to them
if someone intended them harm
if someone they loved was in trouble

A lot was revealed with those 3 short questions.

In another exercise they were given their MAGICAL MIRROR. They were asked to think of 3 words to describe

someone who pushed their buttons in a negative way
someone they
their favorite fruit
the S.S.M.

Thank God they were not required to share the words with anyone ... smile ... it could have been painful ... bigger smile

What blew them away was finding out that the 12 words they used to described others were PERFECTLY describing them! There sure was a buzz after that exercise I'll tell you!

During lunch many of them had their aura measured and found how far it extended out in front of, behind, above and below them when they were ...

in a normal frame of mind
when thinking a negative thought
when thinking a joyful thought

They were AMAZED to find out how BIG they were and what negativity did to their energy field.

"All the flu bugs, colds, viruses, negative thoughts, etc. are now right under your nose ... do you think you have a better chance of catching them now?" they were asked when their aura shrank to just iches from their body when thinking a negative thought.

The day was ended with students and teachers each taking turns to stand in the centre of a large circle while everyone sang the Sufi chant to them ....

the teachers in the centre
their parents (mentally imagining them in the centre
the bullies (mentally imagining them in the centre)

finally their own child self (mentally imagining them in the centre)

They were a little shy at first but eventually warmed up to it.

The icing on the cake for the day was giving out Dog Tags with

Unfortunately there were only 10 to hand out so the energy rods were used to determine who was to receive them. Their reaction was moving. Some teachers were surprised to be chosen.

All in all it was a great day.

BRAVOS MUST be extended to Mr. Larocque the teacher, who had the
courage to choose a non - traditional presenter for the school's bullying
presentation. To quote one teacher, "It was 'FUNKY' and lots of fun."

BRAVOS MUST also be extended to Ms. Cecile Coutu and Mrs. Lyse Larocque for their valuable assistance as well as the teachers who chose to participate.

BIGGEST BRAVO must go to the students who participated and are now instrumental in shifting the consciousness for everyone in their school, their city, their country and the planet.

The principal must have been happy because the S.S.M. was asked to "Initiate" the Grade 8 graduates who will become part of the high school setting next semester.

I can hear you, "But I don't know YOU!" No you don't but LOVE does...TRUST the first words that come to you ... LOVE will never lead you astray. Those 12 words described you!

You can now see your good, bad and ugly sides. Change is not possible until one becomes aware of the need for change. Once you do this exercise you will listen in a different way. You will know when a friend or family member is bad mouthing someone, they are revealing what he or she (the bad mouther) is like; what he or she is working on in his or her own life.

It would be interesting to hear what your reactions are. Want to debate them?

It is a humbling experience to see those parts of yourself that aren't 'pretty'. If you want to be the best you can be, you need to know what you are NOW.

My job is to help you remember the truth ... regardless of what your human self is, the real you is DIVINE... a 100 watt bulb. Your spacesuit may be shining at 20 or 30 or 80 watts. My job is to take the dust off the light bulb and have you realize how PERFECT you ALREADY ARE!

If you could accept that for one moment your whole life would be different. I'm here to show you how.

USE THE SUFI CHANT with anyone and everyone. The first time I shared it with my 1st children's workshop, I had the parents present. One mother needed 3 hrs of attention after the workshop was over because she had not felt so loved in so long ... many memories surfaced for her that needed embracing.

Children LOVE to have it sung or spoken to them as they go to sleep.

I don’t want to tell you immediately because you will poopoo it, calling it fluff or think it is something totally different.

Let me tell you why it is so important and show you how powerful it is before you judge it.

Let me give you an example of why it is needed, when it can be used.

My nephew returned from school crying, “Johnny’s mom and dad have split.”

Divorce is not so unusual so why did this separation upset Ted so much?

“But Dad, you don’t understand. There are over 30 kids in my class and now I am the ONLY one with a mom and dad still married and living together. Are you and Mom going to get a divorce?”

My brother quickly calmed Ted’s fears with some hugs, a bit of talking and this powerful tool.

Let me tell you how and why the P.R. was created.

Six-year-old Nicky’s parents were divorced. He lived with his mother and hadn’t spoken to his father in over four months. He was so hurt, angry and afraid he would never see his dad again he often said ugly, nasty things to his mother. He yelled and screamed and wouldn’t stop. The only way she could get him to be quiet was to hit him in the face and head.

Nicky began thinking, “Every time I talk I get hit,” so he stopped speaking and became severely tongue-tied.

The problem was he never told anyone what his mother did so no one knew why he stopped speaking. He would only say,”Unhuh” for yes and “Unun” for no or nod and shake his head to reply. Nicky hadn’t spoken in three months and was now in trouble at school with the police. The only place he felt safe was with his grandmother who lived in the apartment next to mine.

When I returned from India she told me of Nicky’s problem and that Dr. Joe had explained that Nicky was severely tongue-tied and if she didn’t find out what had happened he would be this way forever.

She knew I worked with children and that Nicky liked me so she asked me to help. I had no idea what to do but I knew how to listen to my guides and angels.

Nicky came to visit me. As he entered my apartment a thought entered my head, “Nicky needs something to help him feel connected to his dad.”

“What should I do?” I wondered.

“Give him The Pink Ribbon,” came the reply.

“THE PINK RIBBON!” I didn’t know anything about a pink ribbon so I asked my Magical Question that gives me the perfect answer every time, “What would LOVE do?”

I suddenly got this inspiration.

“Nicky, come with me. We are going to play a special game.” I took three chairs and asked him to sit in one. I sat in the other and asked Nicky, “Can you pretend your daddy is sitting in this chair?” pointing to the third chair.

He quickly nodded his head up and down.

I knew that he liked Jesus so I used that.

“Nicky, you know the love that Jesus has for you, the love that loves you when you cannot love yourself. The love that knows all the answers to your tests in school. The love that gives you the courage to be brave, tell the truth, be kind.

That perfect love, God’s love, not human love. If you could give that love a color it would be pink.”

I asked him to close his eyes and I began to speak softer and slower. “Nicky, imagine Jesus is dropping a wonderful pink ribbon of love from heaven. It is floating down, down, down. One end is entering the top of your head and going down, down, down, into your heart and out in front of you. The other end is floating in the air over to the top of your daddy’s head.
“His end of the ribbon stops at the top of his head. You must ask his permission. Because he has free will you cannot force him to take this ribbon. Does he want your gift of love?”

Nicky very quickly nodded his head up and down mumbling “Unhuh” over and over.

“Great,” I continued. “Imagine it going in through the top of his head and going down, down, down, into his heart and out the front. The two loose ends are now floating towards each other. Who is going to tie the two loose ends to make a knot, Nicky?” I asked.

As my mouth was saying the words my mind was thinking, “What is he going to say? The boy has not spoken in three months!”

Quickly and clearly Nicky said, “I will but my daddy will help me because I’m not very good with knots.”

I had goose bumps. Wow, something special had just happened. I continued, “Nicky. This ribbon is magical, mystical, it cannot be torn, cut, burned and it never wears out. You are now connected until the end of time to your daddy’s heart with this perfect gift of love.

“Whenever you miss your daddy, just think of the pink ribbon and no matter where he is, even if you’re an old man and your daddy’s died and gone to heaven, he is going to start feeling that love coming from you to him. The love that loves you when you cannot love yourself.”

“Really?” he asked quietly with a gentle tear rolling down his cheek.

“Dear God,” I thought, “please send me a sign to show me I listened well.”

At that exact moment his grandmother knocked on the door. “Nicky come quick, your father’s on the phone, long distance.”

Nicky blasted out of the door, “Yea Dad, I know you had to be thinking of me. I just sent you the pink ribbon,” he squealed in delight.

“Pink ribbon? What pink ribbon?” his dad wondered, and then all of a sudden he realized Nicky was talking and he wasn’t stopping.

Nicky has not had any problems with talking or missing his dad since. He now had a tool to connect him to his father. That was in 1978.

Stories of very expensive, wonderful, outdoor 'educational' facilities
revealed as nothing more than abusive criminal institutions, are being reported too often.

That every single one of us has the power to be great and to spread good to everyone by thinking positively and doing God’s will because we are all connected.

To ask, “What would love do?”

It was to realize that everything happens for a reason and that everyone is equally loved.

That we all have Love inside of us. it is just our decision whether or not to live it.

How to 'Hold the Perfection.'

I liked all the stuff about love and how it makes you stronger.

That I am more than just a human going through life and that I’m stronger with good thoughts!

That love knows everything.

That the feeling of home sickness is because you aren’'t actually “home.”

That being born the way I was, is not my fault or a punishment. My big soul volunteered so I can teach love.

It was nice knowing I can be spiritual and not have to choose a religion and that my Creator loves me just as I am.

That every single one of us have the power to be great and to spread good to everyone by thinking positively and doing God’s will because we are all connected.

Do you think what Caroline shared is of value and should become a regular part of school programs? If yes, why?

Because there are not many students that realize the things that Caroline has to say. Everyone should know!!

It is so inspiring, educational and interesting.

Everyone needs “Love" and needs to know they are loved.

Because I think there would be a more positive attitude with the whole school environment.

I was blown away at how just when you walked in the room and began talking, I felt something I’m not sure what it is but with some of the things that you were saying and with some of the stories, I found myself getting very emotional. We will be bringing Spirituality into all aspects of life and will discuss religion if the need arises.

Don't expect the Love-N-Lightning Boot Camp to be kissy kissy, nice nice all the time. Love is often very tough yet, it NEVER gives you anything you cannot handle without also supplying all you need to do its work.

When the time is right The Love-N-Lightning Boot Camp will journey to you in person.

My 16 years miilitary and leadership training, community involvement, world service and travel, extensive work, especially with the youth, has prepared me well to serve you. All has been 'on the job training.'

I look forward to getting to know you as we take this 'Virtual' Journey together; a journey that will be more real than any you've been on before, as we explore our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.
